Chennai, Aug 24 (IANS) The organisers of the Buchi Babu Memorial All-India cricket tournament had no option but to resort to draw of lots to identify the semi-finalists as rains continued to play havoc with the schedule.
In the process, Punjab, Kerala, Mumbai and Karnataka moved into the semi-finals that will commence Thursday.
While Punjab and Kerala advanced on draw of lots, Karnataka pipped Rajasthan on better run-rate while Mumbai had aggregated nine points to top their group.
