Mumbai, April 30 (IANS) Ranchi’s JSCA International Stadium Complex is set to host the Indian Premier League’s second play-off qualifier on May 22, according to the Indian cricket board.
As per the revised Indian Premier League (IPL) 2015 play-offs schedule announced by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the second qualifier would be played between the loser of first qualifier and winner of the eliminator.
The venue for the second qualifier was not announced earlier.
The first qualifier between the first and the second placed teams in the round tobin league stage will be played in Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on May 19.
The eliminator between third and fourth-placed teams will be played in MCA International Stadium, Gahunje, Pune on May 20.
The second qualifier between the loser of the first qualifier and winner of eliminator will be played in JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi on May 22.
The final will be played at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on May 24.
The schedule:
May 19 (8:00 p.m.) – Qualifier 1: First-placed team vs Second-placed team at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Reserve day on May 20 (4:00 p.m.)
May 20 (8:00 p.m.) – Eliminator: Third-placed team vs Fourth-placed team at the MCA International Stadium, Gahunje, Pune. There is no reserve day.
May 22 (8:00 p.m.) – Qualifier 2: Loser of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Eliminator at the JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi. There is no reserve day.
May 24 (8:00 p.m.) – Final: Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Reserve day on May 25 (8:00 p.m.)
