Chennai, April 29 (IANS) Vishnu Vardhan Friday bounced back after losing the first set to beat fourth seeded Julien Dubail of Belgium 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 en route to the finals of the ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament.
Vardhan takes on qualifier Patrick Rosenholm (Sweden) who defeated India’s Vijay Sundar Prashanth 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, in the other semifinal.
In the doubles final, Prasanth and Arun Prakash Rajagopalan overcame Sie Elbert (Indonesia) and Siriluethaiwattana Perakiat (Thailand) 7-5, 6-4.
