Bhubaneswar, Oct 22 (Inditop.com) The Orissa government will not hold talks with the Maoists until they leave the path of violence, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said Thursday.
“As you know in the past I was open to talks with the Naxalites (Maoists). But they never came forward. They are unleashing violence not only in the state but also in different parts of the country,” Patnaik said.
“The Naxals have to leave the path of violence and join the mainstream for the talks to continue,” he added.
