Mexico City, July 2 (IANS) Twentynine people were killed in fights between rival drug gangs in Mexico, officials said.
Police have arrested nine people who were injured during the clashes that spread across the towns of Tubutama and Caborca in norhtern Mexico, Xinhua reported Friday.
Seven weapons and eight trucks were seized on the battle scenes, Jose Larrinaga Talamantes, an official from the state attorney’s office, told reporters.
