Guangzhou, Nov 15 (IANS) India’s challenge in soft tennis ended after they lost both their mixed doubles first round matches at the Asian Games here Monday.
India’ Jitender Mehlda and Monica Murali Menon lost 3-5, 0-4, 3-5, 1-4, 1-4 to Japan’s Mai Sasaki and Hidenori Shinohara in 16 minutes.
Another Indian pair Mohammed Nasir and Taruka Srivastava lost to Chinese combo of Yang Jiao and Sisi Qiu 4-6, 2-4, 0-4, 4-2, 3-5, 1-4 in 25 minutes.
