Dubai, Feb 2 (IANS) Ace Bangladesh cricketer Shakib Al Hassan has been ranked as the best all-rounder in One-Day cricket, according to the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings released Monday.
The southpaw regained the top slot in One-Day Internationals (ODI) to head the list in all the three formats, reports bdnews24.com.
He had lost the top One-Day ranking to Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Mathews recently.
But in the latest ICC rankings, released after the recent Sri Lanka-New Zealand series and the tri-series involving India, Australia and England, Shakib has once again regained the top slot.
Shakib’s rating point was 403, followed by Mathews with 393 and Pakistan’s Mohmmad Hafeez in the third slot with 389.
Shakib regained his top Test ranking after strong performances against Zimbabwe, in the process claiming back the top slot in T20 format from Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez.
