Estoril (Portugal), June 14 (IANS) Gaganjeet Bhullar carded a steady two-under 70 in the final round to sign off a creditable tied 30th at the Portugal Open golf here. The lone Indian pro in the field ended his campaign with a total of five-under 283.
Bhullar parred five holes before picking up his first birdie on the sixth. He gained another stroke on the eighth to make the turn two-under. It remained two-under after Bhullar dropped a bogey on the 10th and found a birdie on the 18th for the third successive day in his backward journey Sunday.
Dane Thomas Bjorn clinched the title by five strokes after a 68 in the final round left his overall total at an astonishing 23-under 265. Australian Richard Green (70) took the second spot.
