Singapore, Aug 25 (IANS) Indian boxer Shiva Thapa had to rest content with a silver at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games as he went down to Cuban Ramirez Robeisy Eloy 2-5 in the 54 kg weight category.
Shiva, who won India’s eighth medal in the competition, conceded one point at the end of round one.
The Cuban added three more points to his tally in the next round to stay ahead 4-2. In the third Round, Eloy consolidated the lead to win the gold.
In women’s 10 metre air rifle, Neha Milind Sapte finished seventh.
