Pretoria, June 20 (DPA) Denmark came from behind to beat Cameroon 2-1 Saturday, remaining in the race for a place in the Round of 16 and eliminating the Africans from the 2010 World Cup.

Inter Milan superstar Samuel Eto’o give Cameroon the lead after 10 minutes at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. Nicklas Bendtner, however, equalised for Denmark in the 33rd minute and Dennis Rommedahl gave the Scandinavians victory with his strike in the 61st.

Denmark moved to three points in Group E behind leaders Netherlands who have six points and become the first team to make it to the knock-out stage. Denmark are even on points with Japan.

Cameroon have zero points after two matches and will head home after their final match against the Dutch.

Denmark’s final group match comes against Japan.
