Beijing, May 30 (IANS) Chinese police have solved over 5,600 fraud cases related to bank cards since launching a nationwide crackdown in January, the ministry of public security said Monday.
Police seized 25,800 bank cards and recovered 130 million yuan (around $20 million) during the crackdown, which targeted forgery, illegal withdrawal and fraudulent online payment, Xinhua reported citing a ministry statement.
A total of 450 suspects were detained till April.
