Beijing, May 30 (IANS) A former Chinese official has been arrested in Henan province on suspicion of raping 11 girls, China Daily reported. All the victims were below 18 years of age.
Li Xingong, a former Communist party official in Yongcheng city, had been previously detained over charges of raping adolescent school girls, an official statement said.
Police said they also arrested a woman for allegedly helping Li pick, seduce and rape the girls.
