Suzhou (China), May 2 (IANS) Top seed Ding Ning fought hard to reach the women’s singles final at the World Table Tennis Championships here on Saturday.
Ding climbed out of a deep hole that saw her lose the sixth set 11-1, eventually beating teammate Mu Zi 9-11, 11-6, 12-10, 5-11, 11-6, 1-11, 11-6, reports Xinhua.
Ding, the 2011 World Champion, will play against the winner of the all-Chinese semifinal between Li Xiaoxia and Liu Shiwen.
