Los Angeles, Feb 9 (IANS) Oscar nominee Amy Adams abuses a lot in ‘The Fighter’ and she found the role tough because it was difficult to come up with new cuss words every time she faced the camera.

Directed by David O. Russell, the film takes a look at the early years of boxer ‘Irish’ Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg) and his older half-brother Dicky Eklund (Christian Bale) who helped train him before going pro in the mid 1980s. Amy plays Wahlberg’s love interest Charlene Fleming.

‘My character has quite a mouth of her own. After a point, I started finding it difficult to come up with any new words and my director David kept on telling me that I need to do more. After a point, people on the sets started suggesting me new words and I enjoyed it,’ she said in a statement.
