London, Jan 23 (IANS) Actor Colin Firth says he loved wearing a kilt for his role in ‘The King’s Speech’.
‘I enjoyed wearing the kilt (knee-length pleated skirts worn by Scottish men). I wish I had an excuse to wear it more, but I’m not quite Scottish enough to get away with it,’ thesun.co.uk quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, the year 2011 has started on a good note for the British actor as he recently won Golden Globe award for his role as King George VI in ‘The King’s Speech’ and is also among the favourites to win an Oscar for best actor for the same.
