London, Jan 6 (IANS) Actor Colin Firth has been honoured with a star at Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The actor will be saluted outside Hollywood Boulevard’s British pub The Pig & Whistle as he unveils his star Jan 13, reports contactmusic.com.
The actor has got Oscar nomination for his portrayal of King George VI in ‘The King’s Speech’. Last year was great for Firth as he won the BAFTA Award for his performance in Tom Ford’s ‘A Single Man’. He also earned Oscar nomination, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for the same.
At the 2010 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, he was honoured with the Performance of the Year Award and at the London Critics Circle Film Award he was given British Actor of the Year trophy.
