Nairobi, June 14 (DPA) Two explosions at a rally in the Kenyan capital led to a stampede in which at least five people died and 80 were injured.
The Sunday rally was organised at a park in downtown Nairobi by Christian groups who are against a new draft constitution because it continues to recognize Islamic courts and includes a provision for abortions.
A referendum in August would enable Kenyans to vote on the new constitution. Police said the cause of the relatively small explosions was unknown and there was little damage.
