Sydney, July 20 (IANS) A 21-year-old delivery driver with a restaurant in Australia was arrested at Sydney airport while boarding a flight to Nepal on charges of sexually assaulting a woman customer, a media report said Tuesday.
Australian Federal Police arrested the man at 9 p.m. Monday as he tried to board a flight to Kathmandu. He will appear in Sydney’s Central Court Tuesday.
Police allege the man sexually assaulted a 44-year-old customer when he went to her Rose Bay home to deliver food about 11 p.m. last Friday, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
He entered the home through an open door and assaulted the woman who had been sleeping in her bedroom. He then fled, police said.
