Kuching (Malaysia), May 16 (IANS) Indian golfer Ajeetesh Sandhu finished the PGM MNRB Sarawak Championship on a disappointing note as he carded three-over 75 to share the 33rd spot in the $55,400 Asian Development Tour (ADT) event here on Saturday.

Ajeetesh, who had scored 72, 71 and 71 in the first three rounds respectively to be joint 20th on Friday, got a four-day total of one-over 289. to share the spot with four other golfers at the Kelab Golf Sarawak.
Meanwhile Janne Kaske produced a battling seven-under 65 to become the first player from Finland to win on the Tour. The 29-year-old Kaske missed a two-foot par putt on the third hole for his only bogey of the day before fighting back with eight birdies to triumph by four shots with a winning total of 12-under 276.

Overnight leader Erwan Vieilledent of France enjoyed his best result on the ADT when he returned with a 72 for second place.

Malaysia’s Airil Rizman fired a 71 to share tied third place on 281 alongside Japan’s Masaru Takahashi (70) and Casey O’Toole (71) of the United States.

Other Indians in the fray, Pratap Atwal and Feroz Singh Garewal missed the half-way cut.
