Los Angeles, May 1 (IANS) Actress Vanessa Hudgens is reportedly in final talks to play a pregnant teenager in new film ‘Gimmer Shelter’. ‘The Mummy’ star Brendan Fraser will play her father.
The story of the film revolves around a pregnant teenaged girl who becomes homeless after fleeing from her abusive mother. She starts a journey to find her biological father. He first takes her in but then throws her out when she refuses to abort her child, reports thehollywoodreporter.com.
The script is written by Ron Krauss, who will also direct and produce the movie along with Jeff Rice and Dama Claire.
Shooting is scheduled to start at the end of May.
