Tehran, June 21 (IANS) Iran has barred two International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors from entering the country, a media report said Monday.
Iran told the UN nuclear watchdog recently that two of its inspectors were not allowed to enter the country for inspection as they presented false reports on Iran’s nuclear activities, ISNA news agency quoted Iran’s atomic chief Ali-Akbar Salehi as saying.
They have also disclosed information before it had been examined officially, Salehi said.
The UN Security Council has imposed new sanctions on Iran over its nuclear programme, which Tehran insists is for peaceful civilian purposes only.
