London, June 1 (IANS) Actor James Franco has delayed the opening of his James Dean inspired art exhibition in Venice because he needs more time to fully realise his vision for the project.

The ‘Milk’ star was due to make his debut at the Venice Biennale event, which opens this week with his Rebel installation, featuring videos paying homage to Dean, reports dailystar.co.uk.

But Franco has decided against launching his project on Thursday as he needs more time to perfect his work.

‘James Franco has decided to postpone the opening of Rebel to a later date during the exhibition, so that his vision for the project can be fully realised,’ said a spokesperson for Franco.

The Venice Biennale exhibition runs until November this year.
