Los Angeles, July 3 (IANS) Pop singer Katy Perry is urging her fans to launch an online campaign to land her a role in ‘Glee’ as she is desperate to star in the musical TV show.
The all-singing-all-dancing series is becoming popular for its celebrity guests like Jennifer Lopez, Neil Patrick Harris and Josh Groban, while singers Susan Boyle and Justin Timberlake are reportedly in talks to appear in the upcoming second season, reports aceshowbiz.com.
The ‘Hot n Cold’ singer is adamant about getting in the show and has appealed to her fans to launch an internet campaign on social networking site Facebook to persuade show bosses to hire her.
‘Please! I would love somebody to start a Facebook group and persuade them. I would absolutely love that,’ said Perry.
‘Glee’ is in transition to its second season. So far, the confirmed guests in the new season are TV personality John Stamos and singer Charice.
