London, Feb 16 (DPA) Midfielder Steven Gerrard will miss Thursday’s Europa League tie against Sparta Prague with a groin injury.
The England international did not travel with the rest of the squad as they set off for the Czech Republic Wednesday.
Centre-back Daniel Agger was also left behind with a similar problem, while midfielder Christian Poulsen misses out after his wife went in to labour.
