Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), Jan 27 (IANS) Veteran skipper Seydou Keita Tuesday said his Mali team is raring to face Guinea in a crucial Group D match of the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Wednesday.

The two teams will clash in a match that will decide a spot in the last eight from the group at the Malabo Stadium, reports Xinhua.
Mali’s skipper Keita, who is playing in his seventh Afcon, said they are going all out to try and win the game.
“We do not underrate the Guinea team because we know they can be very dangerous, but we have mapped out a plan to handle them,” Keita, who plays for Italian club AS Roma, said.
Mali coach Henry Kasperczak will also hope that his stars like Adama Tamboura, Bakary Sako, Yacouba Sylla and Drissa Diakite put up a good performance in a match that means a lot to their qualification for the next round.
Mali will have to keep a close eye on Guinea’s captain Ibrahima Traore who has proved a kingpin in the team. Traore, who plies his trade with German Bundesliga side Bayer Monchengladbach, has already scored a goal in the tournament.
France-based players Abdoul Razzagui Camara, Fode Camara, Mohamed Lamine Yattara and Abdoulaye Cisse are all expected to make the starting team for coach Michel Dussuyer’s Guinea team.
