Melbourne, July 5 (IANS) Former boxer Mike Tyson, who converted to Islam in the 1990s while serving his term for raping a US beauty queen, has gone on a pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina.
Tyson arrived in Medina Friday with the Canadian Dawa Association for the ‘umrah’ or minor pilgrimage. From there he will go to Mecca and may visit other Saudi cities, reports news.com.au.
