Warsaw, July 30 (IANS) At least nine people were killed and one person was injured Monday in a bus-train collision at an unguarded railway crossing in Poland’s Bratoszewice village.

The train, from Lowicz town to Lodz city in central Poland, was traveling at a speed of about 30-40 km an hour. The bus was almost completely crushed in the accident which occurred Monday morning, Xinhua reported.
Eight victims, including five women and three men, were killed on the spot. Two injured were sent to the hospital and one later died.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
