Houston, May 1 (IANS) Two workers were killed and nine others were injured in an explosion at an oilfield in west Texas, local media reported.
The blast Wednesday was caused by a buildup of pressure while workers were changing a wellhead, said the reports, citing local police.
The two workers, whose names were yet to be released, died at the scene while the nine others sustained minor injuries, Xinhua reported citing the reports.
No more details were available, police said, as radio communications did not work well in the rural area.
