Islamabad, Aug 1 (IANS) A photo exhibition is being held here to mark last year’s devastating floods in Pakistan that impacted over 20 million people.
Nomad Art Gallery along with International Organisation for Migration (IOM) is holding the photography exhibition over the floods. The exhibition continues till Aug 4.
The photographs show the problems faced by flood survivors, their resilience and the organisations’ response.
A documentary titled ‘Recovering from Floods’, which was screened, is the story of a woman with four children who lost her husband and home when the floods ravaged Muzaffargarh district in Punjab, the Daily Times reported.
Nearly 1.7 million houses were destroyed or damaged in the disaster.
