Kathmandu, May 2 (IANS) It was time for all political parties in Nepal to come together after the devastating earthquake, former prime minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said on Saturday.
“In this difficult period in history, we should come together,” Prachanda told Xinhua.
“This is a challenge and opportunity to come to a consensus to draft the constitution,” said Prachanda, the chairman of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist), referring to the country’s long process of constitution drafting due to disputes among parties.
