Seoul, April 29 (IANS) Shiv Kapur and Gaganjeet Bhullar were the only Indian golfers to make the cut, and four others missed the weekend cut at the Ballantine’s Championship after the second round here Friday.

Kapur shot four-under 68 to move from tied 36th to tied 11th at the midway stage. He is now four-under for two rounds. The only other Indian to make the cut was Gaganjeet Bhullar (72) and he was tied 47th after two rounds of 72 each.

Kapur dropped a bogey on 11th, but birdied 13th, 16th and 18th and then the fourth and ninth to finish at 68.

Jeev Milkha Singh, S.S.P. Chowrasia, Anirban Lahiri and Jyoti Randhawa missed the cut.

A brilliant 63 from Australia’s Brett Rumford saw him card a bogeyfree nine-under-par 63 to take the second round lead. Starting at 19th, he moved to a two-day-total of 10-under-par 134 to take a three-shot lead over Denmark’s Soren Kjeldsen and Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez who returned with matching 137s for a share of second place.
