Islamabad, May 12 (IANS) At least six people were killed and 11 others injured on Tuesday in armed clashes between groups over pieces of land in Sindh province of Pakistan.
According to police, the armed clash took place between two groups in Shikarpur town of Shikarpur district in which six people were killed and two others sustained injuries, Geo News reported.
Similarly, two other groups locked horns over another piece of land in Abdur Rehman Donki area of Kandhkot. Nine people were injured in the clash.
Earlier on Saturday, at least 47 people were killed and 25 were injured when tribesmen of North Waziristan clashed over a disputed mountain, which has been a bone of contention between Mada Khel and Pepali Kabul Khel tribes for the past three years.
