Dambulla, June 22 (IANS) Sri Lanka defeated India by seven wickets in an inconsequential match of the Asia Cup cricket tournament here Tuesday.
Sri Lanka, who elected to field, bowled out India for 209 in 42.3 overs and reached the target in 37.3 overs.
For Sri Lanka, captain Kumar Sangakkara made 73 while Mahela Jayawerdena scored an unbeaten 53.
India and Sri Lanka have already made it to Thursday’s final
