New York, July 9 (DPA) Ten Russian spy suspects are to be deported according to an agreement between the US and Russia, a New York federal judge ruled Thursday.

The suspects, who pleaded guilty to US charges, apparently will be swapped with spy suspects being held by Russia.

During the hearing, which was presided over by Judge Kima M. Wood, a suspect who was previously identified as ‘Juan Lazaro’ revealed his real name to be Mikhail Vasenkov and said he was of Russian origin.

His wife, Peruvian journalist Vicky Pelaez, said she had taken money from Peru to the US at the request of her husband – money which had been given to the couple by Russian officials.
